Pulenta Estate, XI Gran Cabernet Franc 2021

Pulenta Estate was founded in 1902 by Angelo & Palmina Pulenta who arrived to Argentina from Ancona, Italy. Now into its fourth generation of family ownership, Pulenta Estate has established themselves as one of Argentina's premier producers and make some of the country's most-loved wines. A beautifully expressive Cabernet Franc showing aromas of wild blackberry, graphite, and dried herbs. The palate is elegant yet powerful, with layers of dark fruit, tobacco, and spice supported by fine, chalky tannins. Fresh acidity adds lift and precision, while subtle oak lends polish. Structured and poised, it finishes long and savoury with notes of cedar and violet. A benchmark example of Argentina’s growing mastery of this noble grape.
